Improvisation and laughter at Teatreneu in Gracia
The Teatreneu in Barcelona is easy to recognize since far away due to the long line of people always waiting for entry.
Shows there are every night (a part from day off on Tuesday) and every night the three rooms are full of an enthusiastic public enjoying and really appreciating!
One of the biggest attractions is the improvisation show. It is more than usual improvisation night: here in Teatreneu public and actors are playing together all the time to spend two hilarious hours.
When enter the theatre you are asked to write a sentence on a small paper and put it in a hurn as all the spectators: actors will fish in it during the whole performance, and the sentences will be once again the theme, the end, the beginning of the representation.
I was waiting for my sentence were chose, but I have to admit people can really pull off the hat nonsense and comic phrases they are great to representate, mixing a parody of the clichés with elements of great originality.
Everything is going fast, with rapid changes of stage rules, because there is never bored. In fact, the time flies by in an instant, in one big laugh.
A fun way to spend a nice evening.
