Lilipep Café Barcelona

Time to relax

Really one of my favorite place in town.

First time I arrived there for casuality, loosing myself in the Born, the first week I was In Barcelona. Lilipep appared me and it was love at first sight.

The café, 5 minutes walking from Jaume I, is located on the corner of a narrow street.

Cozy ambient, with good music, little tables and comfortable sofas. Lovely decoration on the walls and from the ceiling.

The owners and staff are really friendly: I especially love the Italian girl working there who looks like Frida Kahlo.

It's perfect for relaxing an afternoon or an evening, talking with a friend and enjoying good food, mainly vegetarian and everything homemade.

hummus

Books all over the place, homemade cakes in a glass display, vintage photos and artwork hanging in the walls and a wide selection of teas.

They prepare also many different sandwiches, pasta, and tapas.

I always choose my favorite one: a big dish of hummus and pan tomaca, a traditional catalan plate, as simple as good!

Pan_Tumaca

The red wine has a special taste. They told me the name is Candidato. I am really demanding with wine and when in Lilipep I always get two glasses because I am in love with it.

Prices are really affordable: sandwiches are 2-4 euros depending from the size; 2 euros for wine; 1.50 for pan tumaga, or olives or chips.

Once you discover Lilipep, you want to go back!

Miramelindo Bar in Barcelona

Miramelindo Bar is a great place to start your night and spend your evening in Barcelona.
Located on the lively Passaig de Born, nearby Picasso Museum, it’s in one of the best bar areas.
The building that hosts Miramelindo is gothic style: difficult to see the entrance, but once you step in the funny atmosphere will wrap you.

In a large room, tanned lights, a nice wood bar serving delicious cocktails, specifically the Coca cocktail with cognac and coconut milk (3.5€): this is definitely a great place to grab several drinks.
They do not serve dinner here but they do offer a chocolate mousse or a sorbet to enjoy.

Take in count that it so popular that to find a place after midnight would be quite difficult.
Try the upstairs over-looking balcony if the bar area is full: everything in Miramelindo is an occasion to make new friends and discover the typical night in Barcelona.

Address : Passeig de Born, 15
City : Barcelona - Spain
Area : El Born
Opening hours : Open from 19:30 to 3:00

Amsterdam, the Venice of the north. Discover it with us!!!

Amsterdam, the Venice of the north. Discover it with us!!!

Amsterdam the Venice of the northAmsterdam is a magical city boasting an extensive canal network with numerous bridges with architecture from the 16th and 17th centuries.
The historical centre of the city was built mostly in the 17th century, and is today one of the largest historical centres in Europe. During that era a series of semicircular canals were created around the old town which still exists today. After this buildings and houses were built in a typical Dutch style which has become one of the most famous images of Amsterdam and Holland. Amsterdam is familiarly known 'Venice of the north'. However Amsterdam is much more than just this and Habitat apartments wants to show you a small part of what you can see in this romantic city. Here are some suggestions:
Rijksmuseum: A spectacular building housing beautiful pieces of historical art work from Dutch history and includes a collection of paintings from the 17th century. It also goes without saying that the Van Gogh Museum is also a must-see. And, of course you must take a stroll along the canal walk ways which, since 2010, are considered a Monument of human heritage. Also take a walk around these interesting areas: Dam Sqaure, Pijp Sqaure, Plantage, Jordaan, ...
For these reasons we recommend you apartments in Amsterdam , all of which are located in central Amsterdam so you can visit the city with ease.
